The Ontech Shop difference
Sales terms & conditions
The conditions for shopping with Ontech Shop, from product information and prices to order acceptance and your purchase rights.
1. Seller and application of these terms
Ontech Shop is the shop brand used on this website. The seller’s full legal name, registered address, company details and any required tax registration information are published here before purchases are enabled.
These sales terms apply to purchases made directly through this shop. Product-specific conditions and mandatory consumer protections also apply. Business orders may require separately agreed conditions; consumer protections cannot be excluded simply by labelling an order a business sale.
2. Customer eligibility and order details
Buyers must have legal capacity to enter the purchase contract under applicable law. Any age requirements are stated before orders open.
Provide accurate contact and delivery details and, if buying for an organisation, ensure you have authority to do so. Review the product model, quantity, compatibility and chosen options before placing an order. Never send full card details or passwords through an enquiry form.
3. Product information and availability
Descriptions, photos and specifications identify the advertised product, but options such as storage capacity, colour, connectivity and included accessories must be checked for the selected model. Software may have device, region, account or licence restrictions.
The catalogue is a preview while the shop is prepared for trading: prices, ratings and review counts shown are indicative, and stock and offers are not yet confirmed for purchase. Final product information and prices are verified before the shop accepts orders.
Any quantity limits, availability restrictions or substitutions are disclosed before acceptance. A different product is not substituted without agreement.
4. Euro prices, taxes and additional charges
Ontech Shop displays prices in euro (EUR) and labels them as VAT-inclusive. The tax treatment applied is confirmed for the seller and destination before trading.
Before you commit to a purchase, the payable total clearly identifies the product price, applicable taxes, delivery charges and any unavoidable additional fees. Promotions, discount conditions and any expiry date are stated where offered.
Cross-border duties or import charges, if relevant, are explained before purchase rather than assumed to apply to every order. The permitted destinations and responsibility for those charges are set out in the shipping terms.
5. Placing an order and forming a contract
Pressing “Submit Order Request” at checkout sends Ontech Shop a non-binding order request; no payment is collected on the website. We review the request and email you the available payment options. A binding contract is formed only when you accept that payment offer and Ontech Shop confirms your payment.
An automated receipt acknowledgement is distinguished from acceptance unless the ordering process expressly says otherwise. If an item is unavailable or a material pricing error is identified before acceptance, you are told and offered clear next steps rather than being charged a different price without consent.
Handling of errors after acceptance depends on the contract and applicable law. These terms do not give Ontech Shop an unrestricted right to cancel an accepted order.
6. Payment and security checks
Accepted payment methods, the timing of authorisation or collection, and any payment restrictions are shown at checkout. No specific payment provider has been confirmed for Ontech Shop.
Reasonable verification may be required to protect customers against fraud. Any request must be proportionate and must not ask you to disclose account passwords or full payment card details through an unsecured message. Unresolved verification or payment failures are explained before an order proceeds.
7. Delivery, cancellation and returns
Delivery destinations, charges, dispatch estimates and available services are described in the shipping terms and shown before purchase. Advertised free delivery and collection promotions are subject to the conditions published with each offer.
Cancellation, withdrawal and return rights are explained in the separate returns and refunds terms. Processing or dispatch may change how a cancellation is handled, but it does not automatically remove a consumer’s statutory withdrawal right.
8. Faulty goods, legal guarantees and warranties
Goods must meet the standards required by applicable law, including conformity with their description. Where EU consumer rules apply, a minimum two-year legal guarantee generally protects consumers against non-conforming goods; some countries provide longer or additional protection.
Available remedies may include repair, replacement, a price reduction or termination and refund, depending on legal conditions and the circumstances. A manufacturer’s commercial warranty is additional to statutory protections and must not be presented as their replacement.
Ontech Shop’s product-specific warranty arrangements and support process are confirmed before trading. Nothing in these terms imposes an invented blanket warranty period on every product or excludes lawful remedies.
9. Liability and events beyond reasonable control
Any limitation of liability must comply with applicable law. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud or other mandatory protections. No blanket cap at the order value applies.
Serious disruption, such as carrier stoppages or extreme weather, may affect fulfilment. Customers still retain any legal rights concerning delivery, cancellation and reimbursement. Such disruption does not create a general right to keep payment without supplying goods.
Separate business-use limitations must be expressly agreed and legally valid; they are not presumed to apply to consumer purchases.
10. Complaints, governing law and changes
The contact page provides the working contact channel and complaint procedure. Enquiries sent through the website contact form are delivered to our customer service team.
Governing law, dispute arrangements and the seller’s jurisdiction are confirmed with the seller details. Any agreed law or forum preserves mandatory consumer protections and any right to bring a claim in a court available under applicable law.
The terms in effect for an accepted order govern that purchase, subject to mandatory law. Updated website terms do not retrospectively remove existing contractual rights.
